This treatment is great for people with muscular aches, joint stiffness, and pains. It is also good for people who have tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, and carpal tunnel. The machine we use sends micro electric currents to the muscle it is on and penetrates the deepest layer of muscle, something which deep tissue massage can only go as far.
It has a pulling, stretching and tingling sensation which can be controlled with different settings. It does not leave any soreness or pains the next day which deep tissue usually does. It is not like traditional acupuncture, we do not use a physical needle in affected areas, however the gloves we use have very thin and tiny needles that cannot be seen to the naked eye.
The gloves we use have different functions including cupping, tapotement, needling. It is not painful; you would not even notice they were there. For the best results it is recommended you do not eat for at least 1 hour before the treatment and attend well hydrated. Reduce or eliminate the consumption of alcohol for at least 2 days before the treatment.
What is it?
The machine has 99 levels and is adjusted to suit each client. It is not painful as a strong deep tissue massage but on higher settings one can feel discomfort as the machine eases out the tension.
What does it feel like?
As soon as the treatments finishes, drink plenty of water and relax. It is normal to feel a little lightheaded in the same way as after a long massage. Do not do any heavy lifting or workouts for at least 24 hours.
